INTRODUCING
Introduction to Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy

Myofunctional therapy is a program of specific exercises designed to strengthen the facial muscles used for chewing and swallowing, improve speech, and correct orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMDs) that may affect facial skeletal growth, chewing, swallowing, speech, oral hygiene, sleeping, and more. It is often performed by speech therapists and can be beneficial for both children and adults.
Our goal is to:
- Restore normal function
- Get the Muscles of the head, neck, face and tongue working for you instead of against you.
- Myofunctional Therapy can address the underlying issues that are causing the bigger issues that your patients are experiencing.
